Each July, Dyer celebrates its heritage with a six-day festival. The Dyer Station Celebration features old-fashioned, down-home fun. A parade, contest, and competitions highlight the event, plus many other events designed to appeal to everyone. If there is a set purpose for the celebration, it is to help the community reach its fullest potential and to do so without sacrificing the small-town qualities that make Dyer and its inhabitants so special. Dyer also hosts a wonderful Christmas Parade.
