Five special school districts serve the public school students in Gibson County. These schools offer college preparatory classes and vocational training - not to mention the numerous athletic and extracurricular opportunities.

Additionally, a two-year community college is available in Trenton that has both day and evening classes. The Greater Gibson County area is also within a commutable distance of two other community college campuses and six four-year colleges or universities that offer graduate and undergraduate courses.
