Economic Development
The Greater Gibson County Area Chamber of Commerce serves Bradford, Dyer, Gibson, Kenton, Medina, Rutherford, Trenton and Yorkville. In partnership with over 200-member businesses, the Chamber works to foster new opportunities for economic development and community betterment for the Greater Gibson County area. In return for their partnership, these member businesses benefit greatly from the Chamber's successful programs geared toward improving the economic climate and quality of life in the area.

Five special school districts serve the public school students in Gibson County. These schools offer college preparatory classes as well as vocational training - not to mention the numerous athletic and extracurricular opportunities available.
Additionally, a two-year community college is available in Trenton that has both day and evening classes. The Greater Gibson County area is also within a commutable distance of two other community college campuses and six four-year colleges or universities that offer both graduate and undergraduate courses
