Gibson
Gibson is a small rural town full of history, hidden talents, and
community activities which include weekly dances, monthly wrestling
matches and the Annual Volunteer Fire Department Fish Fry.
The communities love for history and its citizens' artistic abilities
are evident in the new mural painted on the side of its City Hall. This
mural has been worked on by 12 local artists to depict scenes from the
area's history. The wall is 18 feet tall and 40 feet wide. It is located
on Route 79 between Humboldt and Milan. The sections painted on the
building include the old Gibson High School, Gibson United Methodist
Church, White Rose Cemetery, Gibson Baptist Church and the Pack Shed of
1906. Gibson City Hall
